siene.cruises is an independent editorial project. We review Seine river cruises in Paris — sightseeing loops, dinner and lunch cruises, sunset and night departures, private charters, canal trips — and the companies that operate them. We are not a boat company, and this is not an official operator website.
Our mission
The Seine cruise market is crowded: dozens of boats, six major operators, and prices that range from €17 to several hundred euros for what can look, from the pier, like the same trip. Our job is to compare every format side by side so you can pick the right one before you pay, with prices and schedules checked against official operator pages and the GetYourGuide listings where most travellers actually book.
How we work
Three things define how this site operates:
- We do not sell tickets. Booking happens on GetYourGuide or on the operator’s own website. We never handle your money or your reservation.
- We are not affiliated with any operator. No boat company owns a stake in this site, pays for placement, or sees our reviews before publication.
- We earn affiliate commission. When you book through a GetYourGuide link on this site, we receive a commission at no extra cost to you. This is the site’s only revenue source, and it does not depend on which cruise you choose.
We update pages when operator data changes — new prices, new schedules, discontinued products. Every page carries its last update date.
Editorial standards
- Verified data only. Every price and rating on this site comes from a live operator page or GetYourGuide listing at the time of the update. If we cannot verify a number, we do not publish it.
- Honest cons. Every review lists real downsides: queues, crowds, banquet-style cooking, window-seat surcharges. A review with no cons is an advertisement, and we do not publish those either.
- No pay-to-rank. Positions in our comparisons cannot be bought.

Frequently asked questions
Is siene.cruises an official cruise operator site?
No. We are an independent editorial project with no ownership ties to any boat company on the Seine. We review operators and cruise formats; we do not run boats, employ crews, or sell tickets. For official information, every operator page on this site names the operator's own website.
How does siene.cruises make money?
Through affiliate links to GetYourGuide. When you book a cruise through one of our links, GetYourGuide pays us a commission. You pay exactly the same price as booking directly on GetYourGuide — the commission comes out of their margin, not your pocket.
Can operators pay for a better review or ranking?
No. Rankings and recommendations are based on verified prices, published schedules, review scores, and format comparisons. No operator has paid to appear on this site, to rank higher, or to have a con removed from a review.
How often is the information updated?
Each page shows its last update date. We re-check prices, schedules, and listings when operator data changes and during seasonal revisions. If you spot something outdated, email [email protected] with a source and we will correct it.
